Christmas 2009 x3

The best way to celebrate Christmas is to celebrate it three times, and so that's what we did. Our first one was in Rexburg. Me and Jenny decided to have our own little mini-Christmas before we went down to Utah for the holidays. We had pancakes with fruit for breakfast and a chicken-and-mashed-potatoes dinner...Yum. We had our own little presents for each other as well in the morning.
Here was our little setup. It was fun to decorate for Chrismas and to have our little presents under the tree. It was fun for us to be sneaky and buy each other presents at the store without the other noticing.

I got Jenny green earrings. They are heart shaped cause I love Jenny and they're green as well because that is the color of Jenny's eyes. Jenny is starting an earring collection.

Jenny got me the last Percy Jackson book. Jenny knew I would be excited for this one. It was really good and I had fun reading it.

Our second Christmas celebration was at the Christensens'. We spent Christmas Eve sharing, bartering, and calling for canned food. It was fun to get so much free food!

Christmas morning we all got up at 6 am to have a nice breakfast and then got ready to charge the presents. The Christensens have a fun tradition of putting up wrapping paper in the entry way and then when its time you break through and we all start opening presents.

Waiting to break the wrapping paper...
(Me and Josh were both taking pictures so we're not in the picture.)

All the siblings got together and got Mom and Dad a picture book. They were both a little allergic to the book I think.

Me and Josh were both there too, but you don't see us in many of the pics so we put in these :)

Our third Christmas celebration was at the Davidsons. Since the Christensens Christmas was so early we had time to catch the Davidsons opening presents. When it is time, we all wait on the stairs and then attack the presents when we're called. At my family's house, half the presents are set in piles and the other half are wrapped under the tree.

Here is Jacob and Derek doing karate moves on each other. That's Dannica in the background.

One of the fun gifts we got was a wad of cash (they're all 1's, but it still made you feel rich). We also had a nice dinner at my family's and it was really good. Christmas dinner is always one of my favorite times.

We truly had a great time with our families and it was definitely a Christmas for the memory books/blogs!
